Surface Design Association was founded to educate, inspire, and provide opportunities in the field of surface design. SDA seeks to raise the level of excellence in surface design by inspiring creativity and encouraging innovation through all its undertakings. Members have access to a quarterly Surface Design Journal, a quarterly SDA Newsletter, a monthly e-bulletin with opportunities for artists, grant and award opportunities, a bi-annual conference and discounted group health insurance. The website contains calendar lists with latest exhibitions and workshops, a directory for textiles suppliers and educational programs and a bulletin board listing opportunities and networking messages.
