The Screen Actors Guild is a labor union representing actors in ?lm, televi¬sion, commercials, and music videos. Primarily concerned with wages and working conditions, SAG negotiates and enforces collective bargaining agree¬ments that establish equitable levels of compensation, bene?ts, and working conditions for performers. SAG member bene?ts also include a pension and health plan, casting showcases and workshops, and access to the SAG Foundation, the charitable arm of the guild that offers members¬only programs such as ?nancial planning, emergency assistance, career seminars, ?lm screenings, and conversations with well¬known actors.
