Samuel S. Fleisher Art Memorial

Samuel S. Fleisher Art Memorial offers a variety of art classes and special workshops for all levels, from beginner to professional. Classes and workshops are available at various levels of payment, from tuition-free to a membership fee-only, to full tuition. Workshop subjects vary, but may include art history, dance and literature.

The Challenge Exhibition Series is a regional juried competition that is committed to enriching and expanding people’s lives through art. Four shows, held each year from September through February, feature the work of 12 regional artists. Applications are available each year in February.

Fleisher also offers public school and community residencies of visual and performing arts-based programs taught by professional artists. Resident artists teach in Philadelphia schools and community centers.
