Pursuant to its mission of fostering understanding of, involvement in and access to the justice system, the Philadelphia Bar Association is committed to providing critical resources and services to the public at large.
In the For the Public area of its site, you will find information on attorney referrals and Philadelphia Bar Association outreach programs, resources for resolving lawyer-client fee disputes, a form for requesting Bar Association speakers for your event or organization, a directory of public interest law agencies, supreme court opinions of interest to the public, and links to valuable law-related Web sites.

The Philadelphia Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division provides, LegalLine P.M., a free legal advice call-in program conducted by volunteer attorneys as a public service of the Association. Through this program, individuals can receive free legal advice from a Philadelphia attorney on the third Wednesday of each month from 5 to 8 p.m. Callers can ask questions related to a variety of legal topics including family law issues, landlord/tenant disputes, wills, and employment.
