MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art) offers month-long residencies at the Château de Rochefort-en-Terre, France, in the heart of the Breton countryside. Applications are invited from accomplished professional writers and visual artists working in a wide array of disciplines and mediums. The program provides free lodging. Residents are responsible for the cost of travel, board, materials, and personal expenses. Each year four outstanding applicants are awarded a stipend toward travel costs through the generosity of an anonymous donor.
