Meet the Composer

Meet the Composer is a national grantmaking organization that fosters the creation, performance, and dissemination of music by living American composers. Through a range of commissioning, residency, education, and audience interaction programs, Meet the Composer provides support for composer fees to nonpro?t organizations that perform, present, or commission original works. Applications to all Meet the Composer programs are submitted by sponsoring organizations, not individual composers. Composers are selected by the organizations, who apply to Meet the Composer on their behalf.
