Koresh School of Dance
The Koresh School of Dance offers free or low-cost studio time to emerging choreographers and dance companies. We also provide rehearsal space for companies touring or passing through the region; most recently we hosted Pilobolus, Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal, Sydney Dance Company and River North Dance Company. The Koresh Artist Showcase is a community initiative to help local artists perform work with no expense cost. Participating artists receive free marketing, free rehearsal space, technical support and free venue rental.
The Koresh School of Dance offers classes and workshops to adults and children in the Philadelphia community. Our classes provide adults and children an introduction to dance and offer beginners through professionals a means of artistic expression. We offer more than 35 adult classes in a wide variety of movement instruction, including belly dancing, pilates, tap, afro-modern, ballet, jazz, modern and hip-hop.
