The mission of Independent Media Publications is to inform, promote, encourage, and mobilize independent and grassroots media-makers. They provide information services including advice and referral on film distribution, legal matters, screenwriting, marketing and financing for independent ?lmmakers and media artists. They also provide a classified section with listings for jobs, internships and other opportunities in the film and media fields. Independent Media Publications also produces The Independent, which is a foremost national publication dedicated to the diverse issues facing the independent media ?eld.
