Dance Advance

Dance Advance supports Philadelphia’s choreographers and dance companies with ?nancial awards for the full range of activities associated with the cre­ation, acquisition, and presentation of dance works. All recipients of Dance Advance awards must reside in the ?ve­-county region of metropolitan Philadelphia. Awards are based on the merit and compelling nature of the submitted project proposals and are granted through a competitive process.

Dance Advance offers an online calendar of dance projects in the Philadelphia region as a public service and to give some overview of the depth and breadth of Philadelphia’s dance culture. This calendar also contains searchable archives that start in 2000. Professional dance artists can submit listings by emailing danceadvance@pcah.us.
