Arts We Need, The
The Arts We Need is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing Creative Arts Therapy and related arts programs to people with special needs and assisting programs that are either attempting to start an arts program or improve upon an existing program.
Programs include The Arts We Give that allows internet users an opportunity to donate art supplies to arts programs in need around the world. And the Arts in Therapy Network (www.artsintherapy.com), an online community for Creative Arts Therapists and those who are interested in the Healing Arts. Members receive a weekly e-mail that includes job listings and searches, member requests, and announcements.
Although the organization is based in New York, the founder has a King of Prussia, Pa., office.
