Americans for the Arts
Americans for the Arts is a national nonpro?t organization promoting the advancement of the arts in America. With of?ces in Washington and New York, it is focused on three primary goals: fostering an environment in which the arts can thrive and contribute to the creation of more livable communities; generating more publicand private sector resources for the arts and arts education; and building individual appreciation of the value of the arts. In February, 2005, Americans for the Arts and Arts & Business Council, Inc. merged operations, allowing the organization to increase its efforts to secure increased funding for the arts from the private sector.
